About This Event
World Investment Forum 2026 is a Finance event taking place 25-27 Oct 2026 at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Doha, Qatar.
The World Investment Forum is UNCTAD's flagship meeting for the global investment community, held under UN auspices since 2008. The 9th edition brings heads of government, ministers, CEOs, sovereign funds, development banks and investment promotion agencies to Doha to work on how capital can flow into sustainable, resilient and inclusive growth. Qatar last hosted the forum in 2012.
Programme
Three days of plenaries, ministerial roundtables, high-level dialogues and executive roundtables, organised around seven thematic tracks. The published programme lists 64 sessions and 221 speakers; the main programme runs on 25 and 26 October, with a shorter set of workshops and seminars on the morning of 27 October.

Who attends
The forum is built for policymakers and capital providers who set and act on investment strategy: heads of state and government, ministers, heads of international organisations, investment promotion agencies and special economic zones, sovereign wealth funds, development finance institutions, institutional investors, business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Key figures
The 8th edition in Abu Dhabi (2023) drew around 8,000 participants and 700 CEOs, according to UNCTAD. The 2026 programme lists 64 sessions, 221 speakers and seven thematic tracks.
