Business and management events in Saudi Arabia in 2026–27: which ones to attend

Saudi Arabia's business and management calendar is concentrated in Riyadh between late October and mid-December 2026. atndr lists 28 upcoming events in this category: 24 in Riyadh and 4 in Jeddah. After a quieter late December, the season picks up again from late January to April 2027 with private capital, governance, retail and internal audit meetings.

November is the busiest month. In one fortnight, Riyadh has an accounting expo, an HR technology summit, a trade finance summit, a retail forum and an operations summit, so finance, people and operations leaders can cover two or three in one trip. HR and learning leaders

The Workforce Strategy & Leadership Conference 2026 in Jeddah (22 October) is a one-day executive forum on workforce planning and talent retention. The 10th HR Tech Saudi Summit runs at voco Riyadh under the theme "Powered by People, Empowered by Tech" and brings HR and IT decision-makers together to compare HR technology. The ATD Saudi Arabia Conference 2026 is for learning and development teams, with paid certificate workshops on 6 and 9–10 December. At policy level, Human Capability Initiative (HCI) 2027 runs 12–13 April 2027 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, with around 250 speakers on skills, education and the future of work.

Finance, audit and governance teams

The Accounting & Business Expo Saudi Arabia 2026 runs 9–10 November 2026 at Riyadh Front, focused on e-invoicing, tax and Zakat compliance and finance automation. The Saudi Trade Finance Summit 2026, in its 14th edition, runs 18–19 November at the InterContinental Riyadh and expects more than 400 senior leaders. The 2027 IIA International Conference brings the internal audit profession's global meeting to Riyadh on 26–28 April 2027, in person or online, with 30+ CPE credits. The G[P]RC Summit Riyadh 2027 (26–27 January) is an invitation-only meeting on governance, risk and compliance.

Procurement, operations and logistics leaders

The CIPS MENA Procurement and Supply Chain Conference 2026 runs 28–29 October at Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah and ends with the CIPS MENA procurement awards. The Global Logistics Forum 2026 is hosted by the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, alongside UNCTAD's second Global Supply Chain Forum. IBRAM Conference for Government Procurement & Projects 2026 (13–14 December) covers government procurement, contracts and projects. OPEX First Saudi 2026 (25 November, Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya) is a one-day, invitation-only summit for COOs and excellence officers.

Investors and executives

FII10 runs 26–29 October 2026 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center under the theme "The Power of Legacy". FII Institute closed attendance registration on 10 October 2026. For private markets, SuperReturn Saudi Arabia 2027 runs 25–26 January 2027 at the Fairmont Riyadh with Jada Fund of Funds. The organizer says more than 300 LPs (the institutions that invest in funds) attended in 2026, and LP places are free.

Retail and franchise businesses

The Saudi Retail Forum 2026 is a one-day conference and awards event at voco Riyadh on 19 November. The RLC Annual Forum 2027 (1–2 February 2027, Fairmont Riyadh) is an invitation-only meeting of retail and consumer chief executives. The Saudi Franchise Expo runs twice: Saudi Franchise Expo Jeddah 2026 on 23–25 November 2026 and Saudi Franchise Expo Riyadh 2027 at The Arena on 26–28 January 2027, both 4–11 pm.

Choose the format by what you need to leave with. Business and management events in Saudi Arabia come in four shapes.

• Executive conferences and summits (10th HR Tech Saudi Summit, Saudi Trade Finance Summit 2026, CIPS MENA Procurement and Supply Chain Conference 2026) seat a few hundred senior people in a hotel ballroom for one or two days. Pick one for peer conversations at your own level. Expect paid passes or vetting.
• Invitation-only forums (OPEX First Saudi 2026, G[P]RC Summit Riyadh 2027, RLC Annual Forum 2027) select delegates. Request an invitation early.
• Trade expos (Accounting & Business Expo Saudi Arabia 2026, the Saudi Franchise Expo) put suppliers on a show floor. Pick one when you are buying software, services or a franchise and want to compare vendors in an afternoon. Visitor entry is usually free with registration.
• Flagship forums (FII10, Global Logistics Forum 2026, Human Capability Initiative (HCI) 2027) mix policy, capital and media under government patronage. They suit executives whose work depends on who is in the country that week.

For the QnA International summits (HR Tech Saudi, Saudi Trade Finance, ATD), solution providers usually pay to attend or sponsor, while practitioners from end-user companies may be offered delegate places. Ask for a quote early.

Start with the people you need to meet, then check that the event can put you in a room with them.

1. Match the audience to your role. A CHRO gets more from the 10th HR Tech Saudi Summit than from an accounting expo. A finance director should look at the Accounting & Business Expo Saudi Arabia 2026 and the Saudi Trade Finance Summit 2026 first. A head of procurement should start with CIPS MENA Procurement and Supply Chain Conference 2026.
2. Check the mechanism, not the headcount. Look for pre-booked meetings (the franchise expo's matchmaking, the accounting expo's premium lounge) or small-format roundtables.
3. Stack events in one trip. The week of 16–19 November 2026 lets you combine the HR technology summit, the trade finance summit and the retail forum in Riyadh.
