Oil, gas and fuels
ADIPEC 2026 runs 2–5 November 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. It is the largest event of the UAE energy year: the organizer advertises a stage for more than 2,250 exhibitors and a paid strategic conference alongside the exhibition. Smaller rooms serve specialists. PODS Global Summit Abu Dhabi 2027 (29–30 March 2027) is for pipeline data teams. FUJCON 2027 (12–14 April 2027) is S&P Global's marine fuels conference at the Fujairah bunkering hub. Lubricant Expo Middle East 2027 (13–15 April 2027) is a free lubricants show, and Energy Trading Week Middle East 2027 (1–2 September 2027) is for oil, LNG and power traders.
Water, power and utilities
WETEX 2026 is DEWA's 28th water, energy, technology and environment exhibition, running 20–22 October 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The World Green Economy Summit 2026 runs 21–22 October in DWTC's Sheikh Rashid Hall, so one trip covers both. The 2026 UN Water Conference runs 8–10 December 2026 at ADNEC. Its official Blue Zone needs UN accreditation; The Oasis is open to registered attendees. Middle East Energy 2027 returns to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City on 11–13 May 2027, after a 2026 edition held 1–3 September. World Utilities Congress 2027 follows on 25–27 May at ADNEC.
Clean energy, hydrogen and climate
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2027 runs 10–14 January 2027. It is a week of linked events, and the World Future Energy Summit 2027 is its largest exhibition; its 2026 edition had 515 exhibiting companies from 57 countries. RAK Energy Summit 2026, hosted by Ras Al Khaimah Municipality on 25–27 November 2026 at the RAK Expo Centre, is the emirate's third energy-transition summit. In June 2027, Hydrogen Technology Expo MENA 2027 brings a free hydrogen and carbon-capture expo to ADNEC on 8–9 June. Solar & Storage Live Middle East 2027 and EVCharge Live Middle East 2027 share DWTC on 7–8 September 2027; both are free to attend.
Sustainable finance, mobility and buildings
Early November is finance week. Gulf Transition & Sustainable Finance 2026 (2 November) covers transition debt and green sukuk, and Future Sustainability Forum 2026 (3 November) is part of Dubai Future Finance Week, which runs 2–6 November 2026. EV World 2026 fills DWTC on 10–12 November. Cooling and buildings have HVACR World 2026 (23–26 November), the one-day LiveableCitiesX Summit 2026 on 24 November and Light + Intelligent Building Middle East 2027 on 12–14 January 2027. ATMOsphere Middle East 2027 brings its natural-refrigerants conference to Abu Dhabi on 14–15 September 2027. Senior executives have the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders Summit 2026 on 19–20 October 2026.
Conference or exhibition: which UAE energy event format fits your goal?
Go to an exhibition to find suppliers, buyers and partners. Go to a conference or summit to hear policy direction and meet the people who set it. Most flagship UAE energy events combine both, so the real question is which part your pass covers.
- Trade exhibitions (WETEX, the World Future Energy Summit, EV World, Middle East Energy, Solar & Storage Live) are built around a show floor. They suit suppliers looking for utility, developer and contractor buyers.
- Summits and forums (the World Green Economy Summit, the UN Water Conference, the RAK Energy Summit, the Dubai finance forums) are built around a programme. They suit people in policy, finance, strategy and reporting.
- Hybrids (ADIPEC above all, and the World Utilities Congress) run a large exhibition and a paid strategic conference side by side. A visitor badge gets you the floor; the conference needs a delegate pass.
For the general differences, see conference vs exhibition vs summit.
How much do UAE energy and environment events cost to attend?
Most UAE energy exhibitions are free for industry professionals who register in advance. Paid access is usually limited to strategic conference programmes and closed forums.
| Event | Visitor access | Paid options |
|---|---|---|
| ADIPEC 2026 | Visitor registration for the exhibition | Delegate passes for the strategic conference |
| World Future Energy Summit 2027 | Complimentary registration, covering the conferences and exhibition | Not required for general entry |
| WETEX 2026 | Online visitor registration | Stands and sponsorship for exhibitors |
| Solar & Storage Live Middle East 2027 | Free ticket, including the conference | None for visitors |
| Hydrogen Technology Expo MENA 2027 | Free to attend | None for visitors |
| 2026 UN Water Conference | Registration for The Oasis | Blue Zone through UN accreditation |
The finance forums work differently: Ethical Finance GCC (5 November 2026, DIFC) is invitation-only. Prices change each edition, so check the ticket link on each atndr listing. Book hotels early for mid-January, when ADSW and the World Future Energy Summit share ADNEC.
How do you choose the right UAE energy event?
Start from the people you need to meet, then pick the event where they show up in numbers.
- Match the buyer. National oil companies and their contractors gather at ADIPEC. Utilities come to WETEX in October and the World Utilities Congress in May. Clean-energy developers, investors and governments come to Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
- Check for project owners. For suppliers and investors, the best signal is asset owners and procurement teams on the exhibitor or speaker list.
- Use co-located weeks. WETEX and the World Green Economy Summit share DWTC in October. ADSW and the World Future Energy Summit share ADNEC in January. Solar & Storage Live and EVCharge Live share DWTC in September 2027.
- Confirm your badge. Check which halls and programmes your pass includes before you book travel.
With budget for one trip, choose by sector: ADIPEC in November for oil, gas and energy technology, or Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in January for clean energy, water and climate. For power equipment and utilities, go in May 2027.
