Turkey's main food and beverage events in 2026–27 are WorldFood Istanbul (15–18 December 2026), the International Halal Expo (25–28 November 2026), ANFAŞ Food Product in Antalya (12–15 January 2027) and F Istanbul (25–28 August 2027). Most run at the Istanbul Expo Center or TÜYAP in Istanbul, with Antalya and Izmir as second hubs. They are trade fairs aimed at importers and HoReCa buyers, and most are free for registered trade visitors.

Key takeaways

  • November to January is peak season; ingredients and processing fairs cluster in June, the big Istanbul food shows in late August and September.
  • Most fairs are free for trade visitors who register online; HOSTECH by TUSİD charges TRY 750.
  • Antalya's January fairs are where hotels place pre-season orders.
  • Several organisers run hosted buyer programmes that can cover accommodation and meetings for qualified foreign buyers.

What does Turkey's food and beverage event calendar look like?

Turkey's food and beverage events are export-minded trade fairs, concentrated in Istanbul, with Antalya and Izmir as the second and third hubs and regional fairs in Bursa, Konya and Adana. Most aim to connect Turkish producers with importers from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.

The season has two peaks. November to January is the busiest stretch: halal, finished food products, hospitality equipment and the Antalya pre-season fairs. June and late August to early September bring the ingredients, processing and big Istanbul food shows. Spring belongs to the agriculture fairs.

Finished food and drink

WorldFood Istanbul is the longest-running: the 2026 edition is the 34th, organised by ICA Events and moved to December at the Istanbul Expo Center. F Istanbul is trade-only and arranges its halls by theme, and Foodist Istanbul is backed by the Turkish Food Platform and the country's food exporters' associations, with a hosted buyer programme.

Halal and private label

The International Halal Expo runs with the 12th World Halal Summit, coordinated with SMIIC, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's standards institute. The Private Label Expo shares its dates and venue, linking Turkish contract manufacturers with retail chains and importers.

Hospitality supply

Antalya's January fairs are timed to the start of the tourism season: hotels plan new-season orders at ANFAŞ Food Product (33rd edition) and ANFAŞ Hotel Equipment (37th edition), held side by side. HOSTECH by TUSİD in Istanbul is, by its organisers' account, Turkey's largest HORECA equipment exhibition; Izmir's HORECA Fair (2–5 December 2026) serves the Aegean market.

Ingredients, processing and fresh produce

FNI, FOTEG and VIV Select Türkiye (poultry) share the Istanbul Expo Center on 9–11 June 2027; EFIS Eurasia (3–5 November 2027) covers ingredients again in autumn. For fresh produce, Fresh Antalya (5–7 May 2027) and Interfresh Eurasia in Izmir (7–9 September 2027).

Which venues host food events in Turkey, and how do you get there?

Four venues host most of these fairs, two of them in Istanbul.

Venue City Hosts Getting there

Check which Istanbul venue your fair uses before booking a hotel: the Istanbul Expo Center is in Yeşilköy near Atatürk Airport, while TÜYAP is further west in Büyükçekmece.

What does it cost, and who can get in?

Most Turkish food fairs are free for trade visitors who register online, and several pay for qualified foreign buyers to attend.

  • Free with online registration: Growtech Antalya, FNI (conference programme included), Fresh Antalya, VIV Select Türkiye and Konya Agriculture Fair. ANFAŞ Food Product offers trade visitors a free pass.
  • Paid: HOSTECH by TUSİD sells an online ticket at TRY 750 per person, valid for all five days; students and teachers enter free.
  • Trade only: F Istanbul and TURFOOD admit business professionals only, and F Istanbul turns away under-18s. HOSTECH admits no one under 16.
  • Hosted buyers: ANFAŞ Food Product, ANFAŞ Hotel Equipment, Fresh Antalya and Foodist run hosted buyer programmes; accepted international buyers can receive accommodation, transfers and pre-scheduled meetings.

WorldFood Istanbul asks visitors to register with a business email address unique to them, and sends the badge by email.

How do you choose and plan a visit?

Match the fair to your role, then sort out the paperwork.

  1. Importers and retail buyers of Turkish products get the widest choice at WorldFood Istanbul in December or F Istanbul and Foodist in late summer.
  2. Hotel and restaurant buyers should look at Antalya in January, when hotels place their pre-season orders, and HOSTECH in Istanbul for kitchen equipment.
  3. Food manufacturers sourcing ingredients or machinery should plan for June in Istanbul, when FNI and FOTEG run together.
  4. Halal-market buyers have one clear date: the International Halal Expo with the World Halal Summit.

Visas. Check the rules for your nationality with the Turkish authorities before booking. Organisers differ on visa support: Growtech offers visa letters through its registration email, while the Adana Agriculture fair issues no invitation letters but says its online ticket can be used among visa documents.

Apply early for hosted buyer places. Programmes are selective and reviewed by the organiser's international team, so apply well before the fair.
