Manufacturing and industrial trade shows in India 2026–27: which to attend

India's 2026–27 manufacturing and industrial trade shows by month, sector and city, the main venues, and how to register as a visitor.

By the atndr teamPublished 6 min read

The short answer

India's biggest manufacturing trade shows run from November to February in Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Bengaluru. IMTEX 2027 (21–27 January, Bengaluru) leads for machine tools, Plastivision India (21–25 January, Mumbai) for plastics, Bharat Mobility Global Expo (4–9 February, New Delhi) for vehicles and components, and ELECRAMA (20–24 February, Greater Noida) for electrical equipment. Most are run by industry associations, and visitors register online in advance with the organiser.

Key takeaways

  • January and February 2027 are the peak: IMTEX, Plastivision India, Bharat Mobility Global Expo and ELECRAMA all fall within six weeks.
  • Each sector has one show to prioritise: IMTEX for machine tools, Plastivision for plastics, ELECRAMA for electrical and power, Automation Expo for factory automation, PackPlus for packaging.
  • Three cities carry the calendar: Mumbai (Bombay Exhibition Centre), Delhi NCR (Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, India Expo Mart) and Bengaluru (BIEC); Chennai and Kolkata host regional shows.
  • Several shows are biennial, including India Chem, IMME and ACMEE, so check that the edition you plan for is actually running that year.
  • Register on the organiser's site before the show; buyers can often apply separately for hosted-buyer or buyer-seller meeting programmes.

Which manufacturing trade shows in India matter most?

Start with the show that dominates your sector; most Indian industrial shows are owned by the industry association, so they gather the domestic manufacturers in one place.

Event Dates City Best for
IMTEX 2027 21–27 Jan 2027 Bengaluru Machine tools, cutting tools, metrology buyers
Plastivision India 2027 21–25 Jan 2027 Mumbai Plastics machinery, moulds, polymers
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027 4–9 Feb 2027 New Delhi Vehicles, auto components, tyres, batteries
ELECRAMA 2027 20–24 Feb 2027 Greater Noida Electrical equipment, power, energy storage
electronica & productronica India 2027 28–30 Apr 2027 Greater Noida Electronic components and EMS equipment
Automation Expo 2027 2–5 Jun 2027 Mumbai Factory automation, robotics, IIoT
PackPlus 2027 22–24 Jul 2027 New Delhi Packaging and converting

Machine tools and metalworking

IMTEX 2027 is the flagship of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association and runs with Tooltech for seven days at BIEC, with IMTMA's International Seminar on Machining Technologies on 22–23 January. ACMEE (27–31 May 2027, Chennai) is the biennial machine tool show of the Ambattur industrial estate. Tube India (30 November–2 December 2026, Mumbai) covers tubes and pipes.

Plastics, chemicals and materials

Plastivision India, run by the All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association, projects 1,500+ exhibitors and 250,000+ business visitors for January 2027, according to the organiser. India Chem (22–24 October 2026) is the government-backed biennial chemicals show; glasspex INDIA covers glass production.

Mobility, electrical and electronics

Bharat Mobility Global Expo groups the Auto Expo Motor Show, the Auto Expo Components Show, tyre, battery and construction equipment shows across Bharat Mandapam (4–9 February) and Yashobhoomi (4–7 February). ELECRAMA, IEEMA's 17th edition, adds a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet with international buyers. For electronics, see embedded world India (17–19 November 2026), Source India Electronics Supply Chain and electronica India. EV suppliers have Auto EV Bharat and EV Expo Delhi.

Process industries, packaging and logistics

CPHI & PMEC India (23–26 November 2026, New Delhi) covers pharma ingredients and machinery. Packaging buyers have PackPlus South and PackPlus; logistics teams have the India Warehousing Show. Textile makers have Gartex Texprocess, woodworking firms ChennaiWood and KolkataWood, and mining suppliers IMME.

Where are India's manufacturing trade shows held?

Most large industrial shows use one of five venues. Pick hotels by venue, not by city: Delhi NCR's three venues are in different parts of the region.

Venue City Typical shows
Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon Mumbai Plastivision, Tube India, Automation Expo, glasspex, IFAT India
Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan New Delhi Bharat Mobility (motor show), PackPlus, EV Expo, World Food India
Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka New Delhi CPHI India, India Warehousing Show, Bharat Mobility components
India Expo Centre & Mart Greater Noida ELECRAMA, electronica & productronica India
Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Tumkur Road Bengaluru IMTEX, embedded world India, PackPlus South, India Manufacturing Show

BIEC was built by IMTMA and has five column-free halls totalling 77,500 square metres. Chennai Trade Centre hosts the southern shows (ACMEE, Paperex South India, Automotive Testing Expo India), and Kolkata hosts IMME and India Energy Week 2027.

How do you register, and what does it cost?

Register online with the organiser before the show; most Indian industrial trade fairs ask visitors to complete a business registration and print or show a badge at the gate. Bharat Mobility, for example, has a visitor registration form and a separate buyer application.

  • Visitor badges: issued against business details. Fees, where charged, vary by show and by date: CPHI & PMEC India's 2026 Standard Pass was INR 2,499 excluding tax (EUR 27 for international visitors), with a lower early price. Each atndr listing shows the organiser's current tiers.
  • Buyer programmes: larger shows run hosted-buyer schemes and buyer-seller meetings. ELECRAMA runs a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet for international buyers sourcing from India and a Domestic Buyer-Seller Meet for MSMEs and utilities; Plastivision projects 200+ hosted buyers.
  • Conferences: seminars that run alongside, such as IMTMA's machining seminar during IMTEX, may need a separate delegate registration.
  • International visitors: check India's e-Visa rules for business travel well before the show.

How do you choose the right show?

Use four questions to narrow the list:

  1. Is it the association's show? Shows run by the sector body (IMTMA's IMTEX, AIPMA's Plastivision, IEEMA's ELECRAMA, ACMA and SIAM at Bharat Mobility) usually gather the most domestic manufacturers in that sector.
  2. Is it this year? IMME, ACMEE, India Chem and KolkataWood are biennial. Check the edition year on the listing.
  3. Which region do you sell into? Regional editions exist for the south (PackPlus South, Paperex South India, ChennaiWood) and east (KolkataWood, IMME), and are smaller but more local.
  4. Do you need suppliers or customers? Component and machinery buyers go to the trade fair floor; policy, energy and investment discussions happen at summit-style events such as India Energy Week and World Food India.

If you can make one trip, the second half of January 2027 covers IMTEX in Bengaluru and Plastivision in Mumbai in the same week, with Bharat Mobility in New Delhi a week later.
