India Energy Week 2027

India Energy Week is the country's largest international energy gathering, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), with Informa running the conference programme. The 2027 edition moves to Kolkata, bringing energy ministers, national oil companies, investors and technology suppliers together to discuss energy security, the transition and investment in one of the world's fastest-growing energy markets.

Conference programme

Two conference streams run alongside the exhibition, plus closed-door sessions for senior leaders.

• Strategic Conference: ministers, CEOs and policymakers on energy security, policy and global partnerships
• Technical Conference: papers across 15 core technical categories spanning the energy value chain
• Leadership Roundtables: invitation-only discussions held under the Chatham House Rule

The exhibition is organised into thematic zones so visitors can find suppliers by sector, alongside country pavilions and the operators of India's energy system.

Who attends

Energy ministers and government delegations, national and international oil and gas companies, LNG and gas distribution operators, refiners, renewables and hydrogen developers, investors, engineers and technology providers. The organiser says visitors can meet more than 75,000 energy professionals over the four days.

Startups and innovation

The 2027 edition runs two startup programmes: VASUDHA'27, a challenge for oil and gas upstream startups, and Avinya'27, a competition for Indian energy startups.
