8th Eastern Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress & 14th Saudi Epilepsy Society Congress

The 8th Eastern Mediterranean Epilepsy Congress is held together with the 14th Saudi Epilepsy Society Congress under the patronage of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE). Over three days in Al Khobar it covers epilepsy diagnosis, neuroimaging, genetics, surgery, neurophysiology and new therapies, with lectures, workshops and case discussions plus an exhibition of therapies and solutions.

Twenty themed sessions run from clinical management to translational neuroscience. Highlights:

Leadership

Dr. Raidah Al-Baradie, EMR President, chairs the conference; Dr. Danah Aljaafari, President of the Saudi Epilepsy Society, chairs the scientific committee; and Prof. Faisal Al Otaibi of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center chairs the advisory board. A virtual workshop runs on 28 October.
