When is Ambiente 2027 open?

From Friday 29 January to Monday 1 February 2027, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Tuesday 2 February 2027 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Can the public visit Ambiente?

No. The fair is open to trade visitors only; private visitors are not admitted and cash sales are not allowed.

How much is a ticket?

A 1-day online ticket costs EUR 29 with the Info Service or EUR 43 without it; a season ticket costs EUR 55 online with the Info Service or EUR 82 without. Prices are higher at the cash desk, which only accepts cashless payment.

Does my ticket cover other fairs and public transport?

Yes. Tickets are also valid for Christmasworld and Creativeworld, and include free travel to and from the exhibition grounds on RMV public transport.

How do I get to the exhibition grounds?

From Frankfurt Central Station, take tram 16 or 17 three stops, or the U4 underground one stop, to Festhalle/Messe.

About this event

Ambiente is Messe Frankfurt's leading international trade fair for consumer goods, covering everything from tableware and kitchen products to furniture, decor, gifts and lifestyle accessories. It is a trade-only order and sourcing platform that tracks new themes such as sustainability, design, new work and future retail. Ambiente 2027 runs alongside Christmasworld and Creativeworld in Frankfurt.

Ambiente is open to trade visitors only. It draws buyers and decision-makers from every type of retail outlet, commercial buyers from industry and services, and specialists such as architects, interior designers and project planners. Exhibitors range from global brands to niche artisans.

Programme and networking

Alongside the exhibition, the fair runs trend presentations (Ambiente Trends 27+), design and Ethical Style programmes, academies and talks. Every ticket includes access to the Ambiente networking tool for matchmaking and meeting scheduling with exhibitors and other visitors.

Key figures

In 2026, Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld together hosted 4,636 exhibitors from 170 countries, and 71 per cent of visitors came from outside Germany, according to Messe Frankfurt's final report.
