Aqua Nor 2027

Aqua Nor in Trondheim is recognised as the world's largest exhibition for aquaculture technology and has been the seafood industry's leading meeting place since 1979. Held every other year by the Nor-Fishing Foundation, it covers the whole value chain of farming salmon, marine species and shellfish.

What's on show

Exhibitors present the latest technology, processes and services across the aquaculture value chain, indoors at Trondheim Spektrum and on the water.

• Breeding and feed
• Biomass control and cage design
• Operations and handling systems
• Fish health
• Vessels, feed barges and floating installations in the on-water area at Skansen and the Brattøra basin (20,000 m²)

Programme

The professional programme starts with the Aqua Nor Conference on the Monday before the exhibition opens and continues with presentations, panel discussions and conferences during the fair, plus breakfast seminars and networking events across the city. Around 1,600 students visit, with a Student Day and Student Camp run with NTNU and industry clusters.

Who attends

Around 25,000 visitors from up to 80 nations attend, and a customer survey found that 95% of Norway's largest aquaculture companies attend. SalMar will present its 2027 half-year results at the exhibition.
