How much does registration cost?

Physicians pay USD 250 until 15 October 2026, USD 350 until 31 December 2026 and USD 450 from 1 January 2027. Nurses pay USD 150, USD 250 and USD 350, and students USD 80, USD 110 and USD 160.

What is the cancellation policy?

Written cancellations received by 7 December 2026 are refunded minus a USD 25 administrative fee. No refunds are given after that date, but a registration can be transferred to a colleague.

Are accommodation packages available?

Yes. Conference guest packages include two or three nights at the conference venue with the syllabus, certificate of attendance, daily lunch and coffee breaks.

About this event

The Bahrain Diabetes and Endocrine Review Conference (BDER) is a regional scientific meeting dedicated to advancing clinical practice in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism. Its 9th edition, BDER 2027, returns to the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain for two days of clinical updates, emerging research and practical approaches to patient care, led by a conference board of senior Bahraini endocrinologists.

What's covered

The scientific committee has built a programme of clinical updates, new research, innovative therapies and practical approaches to managing endocrine and metabolic disease, delivered through expert-led presentations, interactive discussions, clinical symposia and multidisciplinary sessions.

Who attends

Physicians, nurses and students working in diabetes and endocrine care, together with researchers, educators and policymakers. National, regional and international faculty share evidence-based perspectives, and industry partners showcase therapeutics, diagnostics, digital health and healthcare technologies.

Conference board

The conference is chaired by Dr. Wiam Hussein, Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at Royal Bahrain Hospital, with board members from the Royal Medical Services BDF Hospital, RCSI Medical University of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf University. It is organized and endorsed by ICOM.
