About this event

Energy Exchange Australia (EXA) is the evolution of AOG Energy, the long-running Australasian oil and gas exhibition in Perth. The 2027 edition brings operators, contractors, service companies and regulators onto a single exhibition floor for three days, with a free conference programme that follows projects from exploration through to decommissioning and the energy transition.

Conference programme

The conference is free to register and features around 150 industry speakers. Sessions cover project work plans, subsea, drilling and facilities case studies and the direction regulators are taking, across these topic streams:

Exploration & production
Drilling
Decommissioning
Carbon capture and storage
Electrification
Hydrogen
Wind energy
Critical minerals
Research & development

Who attends

EXA is built for the whole upstream supply chain: operators and project owners, engineering and drilling contractors, equipment and service suppliers, decommissioning specialists, government and regulators, and researchers working on lower-carbon production in Western Australia and beyond.

Exhibition

The exhibition fills one floor of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, with partner zones for operators, decommissioning and the host city. It is the meeting point for suppliers looking to reach Western Australia's offshore and onshore energy projects.
