EnergyDecentral 2026

EnergyDecentral is DLG's international trade fair for decentralized energy supply, held in Hanover in parallel with EuroTier, the world's leading show for professional animal farming. Under the 2026 motto "Powering New Ideas", it brings together manufacturers, service providers, plant operators and investors around the technologies farms, municipalities and utilities use to produce their own energy, from anaerobic digestion to solar and storage.

Thematic areas

The exhibition is organised around five core segments of distributed energy.

• Biogas: plants, components and services for agricultural and municipal anaerobic digestion
• Solid fuels: log, wood chip and pellet biomass firing systems
• Engine systems (CHP): components, lubricants and services from 20 kW to 2 MW
• Power to gas: converting surplus electricity and hydrogen into gas, power and heat
• Photovoltaics: modules, substructures, inverters and battery storage for farms

Who attends

Biogas plant operators, farmers, municipal suppliers, public utilities and trade visitors with investment plans, from Germany and abroad. Because the fair runs alongside EuroTier and the Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show, visitors can combine energy and livestock topics in one trip.

Programme

The 2026 programme includes a timetable of talks on the DLG Expert Stage and DLG Spotlight sessions, the EnergyDecentral Innovation Award, an agrifood start-ups area and a Science Campus.
