About this event

The EU-Startups Summit is the annual flagship event of EU-Startups, the European startup news site. Held in Malta, it gathers about 2,500 founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs and media from across Europe for two days of networking, talks and dealmaking focused on tech-based startups with global ambitions.

On-stage programme

Two stages with fireside chats with internationally successful founders, keynotes and panel discussions from a line-up of roughly 80 speakers, plus an "Investors on Stage" session where 15 leading investors present their firm each day.

Pitch competition and exhibition

Fifteen early-stage startups, pre-selected from more than 1,600 applications, pitch for three minutes each to the audience and an investor jury for a prize package worth €1 million; applications open in December 2026. The exhibition hall hosts 75 companies with booths.

Networking

A dedicated networking app, a networking area, topic-focused networking sessions and rooftop networking drinks at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on both evenings.
