IMEX Frankfurt 2027

IMEX Frankfurt is where the global meetings, events and incentive travel industry gathers each year for the largest trade show of its kind in Europe. At Messe Frankfurt, event planners and buyers meet destinations, venues, hotels and suppliers through pre-scheduled appointments, with a free day of specialist education on the Monday before the three-day show.

Who attends

The show connects buyers with a qualified budget to suppliers from around the world.

• Corporate and association meeting planners
• Agencies and intermediaries
• Hosted buyers, whose travel and accommodation are covered
• Destinations, convention bureaus and venues
• Hotels, technology and event service suppliers

Formats

The trade show floor is built around booked meetings between buyers and exhibitors, supported by an education programme with tracks for association and corporate planners, the Monday specialist education day, networking events and the IMEX Gala Dinner. The 2026–2027 Talking Point is Design Matters.

Scale

The organizer says attendees can meet around 2,900 destinations, venues and suppliers representing 100 countries, and that exhibitors meet over 4,700 global decision-makers, including the German outbound market.
