About This Event

9th International Conference on Energy Research and Development (ICERD-9) is a Energy & Environment event taking place 17-19 Nov 2026 at Kuwait University Conference Center, Kuwait City, Kuwait.

ICERD-9 is the ninth International Conference on Energy Research and Development, hosted by Kuwait University's College of Engineering and Petroleum and co-organised with ASHRAE. Its goal is to make better use of energy resources in the biggest consuming sectors of the arid Arabian Peninsula, where air conditioning drives peak demand. The series is held under high patronage in Kuwait and ties into Kuwait Vision 2035.

Programme

The conference combines four parts: oral presentations of accepted papers, lectures by invited keynote speakers, a panel with experts and decision-makers, and a showcase of products and innovations from energy companies in Kuwait and the Gulf. The published agenda runs from an opening ceremony on 17 November to a panel discussion and closing ceremony on 19 November.
