ISC High Performance 2027

ISC High Performance is the world's longest-running forum for high performance computing, now spanning HPC, artificial intelligence and quantum computing. The 2027 edition returns to Hamburg under the theme "Connecting the Dots", bringing researchers, engineers, vendors, system operators and policymakers together for a week of technical programme and Europe's largest HPC exhibition.

Who attends

The organizer expects over 4,000 participants, from early-career scientists and students to senior management and enterprise leaders, drawn from academia, government and industry.

• HPC centre directors and system operators
• Researchers and computational scientists
• Hardware, software and cloud vendors
• AI and quantum technology providers
• Policymakers, analysts and journalists

What's covered

The programme focuses on the convergence of high performance computing, AI and quantum technologies, with a strong thread on energy-efficient and cost-effective computing. The contributed programme of workshops, tutorials, research papers, posters and birds-of-a-feather sessions is built by the community, chaired for 2027 by Professor Rio Yokota of the Institute of Science Tokyo with Amanda Randles of Duke University as deputy chair.

Exhibition

ISC hosts Europe's largest HPC exhibition, with around 180 organizations, vendors, public institutions and start-ups showing hardware, software, AI integration and quantum computing systems alongside the conference.
