MWC26 Doha

MWC Doha is the GSMA's Middle East and North Africa edition of the MWC series, launched in Doha in 2025. The 2026 edition runs under the theme "The IQ Era" and, for the first time, is co-located with ITU PP-26, the UN's top policy-making conference for digital technologies, in neighbouring halls of the same venue. That puts operators, technology vendors, startups and government delegations in one place as telecoms policy for the rest of the decade is decided.

Conference themes

The 2026 conference is organised around three themes, with keynotes and GSMA-run summits on the main technology shifts for operators in the region.

Who attends

Mobile operators, network and device vendors, cloud and AI companies, satellite firms, startups, investors, regulators and ministerial delegations. The ITU co-location adds delegates to PP-26 and the GSMA Ministerial Programme, who have access to the MWC show floor.

Key figures

The first MWC Doha in 2025 recorded 9,500 attendees from 110 countries and territories, 275+ speakers, 250+ exhibitors and sponsors, 60 government delegations and more than 30 partnerships and announcements, according to the organiser. Around 20% of attendees were C-suite.
