Nürnberger Unternehmer-Kongress 2027

The Nürnberger Unternehmer-Kongress (NUK) is the Nuremberg metropolitan region's big start-of-year meeting for entrepreneurs and managers of small and mid-sized companies. Held in the NCC Ost congress centre at NürnbergMesse, the afternoon congress combines keynote talks with small discussion circles where business owners, advisers and academics debate the issues facing the Mittelstand. It is followed in the evening by the invitation-only New Year's reception of the mid-sized business community (Neujahrsempfang der mittelständischen Wirtschaft).

Format

The congress runs from 12:00 and mixes plenary keynotes with parallel discussion circles (Gesprächskreise), each led by a panel of practitioners, advisers and researchers. Recordings of the circles are made available online after the event.

Typical topics

Past circles have covered the questions that preoccupy owner-managed companies, such as company valuation and succession, artificial intelligence in SMEs, leadership in uncertain times, sports sponsorship as a marketing lever and access to venture capital.

Owners, managing directors and executives of mid-sized companies from the Nuremberg metropolitan region and beyond, together with bankers, tax advisers, consultants, start-up investors and representatives of regional politics, who have traditionally supported the event.
