What are the opening times?

Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November 2026, 09:00 to 17:00 both days. One badge gives access to both days.

Indoors in Hall 4 at the SEC, Exhibition Way, Glasgow G3 8YW. For satnav, use G3 8GS for the multi-storey car park opposite the venue.

Are the seminars free?

Yes. Knowledge Zone seminars are free to attend; the organiser said the full programme would be on the website from September 2026.

The council multi-storey car park opposite the SEC charges £6 for up to 1 hour, £12 for 1 to 12 hours and £24 for 12 to 24 hours, with blue badge bays available.

About this event

RTX Scotland is the Scottish edition of Road Transport Expo, a two-day indoor show built around the truck and everything related to it. Run by Road Transport Media, the publisher of Commercial Motor and Motor Transport, it returns to Hall 4 at the SEC in Glasgow in 2026 after its first edition in 2025, bringing the Scottish haulage and logistics community together with the suppliers that keep fleets on the road.

More than 50 suppliers exhibit the equipment and services a transport operation depends on.

New and used trucks, vans and alternatively fuelled vehicles
Trailers, tippers, tankers and body builders
Wheels and tyres
Vehicle safety and security equipment
Telematics, transport management and fleet software
Fuels and charging infrastructure
Workshop, repair and maintenance equipment

Knowledge Zone

A free seminar programme in the Knowledge Zone brings in specialists from transport, logistics, manufacturing, enforcement and government. In 2025 it covered fleet decarbonisation, driver safety, innovation and autonomous vehicles; the 2026 sessions are to be announced closer to the show.

Who attends

Fleet operators, transport managers, hauliers and logistics professionals from across Scotland, alongside drivers and workshop staff looking at the latest vehicles and equipment.

Getting there

The SEC has its own station, Exhibition Way, linked to the venue by a covered walkway. Drivers can use the Glasgow City Council multi-storey car park opposite the SEC (postcode G3 8GS).
