About this event

The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) is the largest breast cancer conference in the world, held every December since 1978. Hosted by UT Health San Antonio together with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), it is where many practice-changing breast cancer trial results are first presented.

Programme

SABCS combines expert lectures across clinical, translational and basic research with selected oral and poster presentations, forums and case discussions. Topics highlighted for 2026 range from AI-based pathology and cancer prevention vaccines to ctDNA, radioligand therapies and new treatment approaches. The codirectors are Carlos L. Arteaga (UT Southwestern) and Virginia G. Kaklamani (UT Health San Antonio).
