Saudi Digestive Disease Forum 2026 (SDDF 2026)

The Saudi Digestive Disease Forum is the flagship scientific meeting of the Saudi Gastroenterology Association. The 2026 edition, themed "Translating evidence into bedside practice", brings more than 1,200 gastroenterologists, hepatologists, trainees and nurses to Jeddah for three days of clinical teaching, abstracts and an endoscopy video award, with 24 CME credits.

Scientific themes

The programme moves from common GI symptoms and acid disease on day one to IBD and functional disorders on day two and liver disease on day three.

Optional workshops, booked separately through the SGA secretariat, cover endoscopic procedures (hands-on), endoscopy nursing, GI motility, GI nutrition and a GI board review in association with the American College of Gastroenterology.

Abstracts and awards

Abstract submission is open until 1 November 2026, and the forum runs an Endoscopy Video Award. Dr. Turki AlAmeel chairs the scientific committee and Dr. Mohammad Khan is organising chair.
