Athlete 360 2027

Athlete 360 is a two-day international conference in Riyadh on how athletes are developed, kept healthy and supported, from grassroots participation and talent pathways to elite performance and life after competition. Organized by Great Minds Event Management and held alongside the World Stadiums & Arenas Summit, it brings Saudi sports federations, clubs, medical teams, universities and suppliers together against the backdrop of Vision 2030 and the Kingdom's run of major sporting events.

Key focus areas

The programme is organized around six themes.

• High performance and athlete development, including coaching, talent identification and federation governance
• Sports science, health and wellbeing: sports medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation, nutrition, mental health and anti-doping
• Sports technology and innovation: AI, wearables, performance analytics and athlete data

• The evolving sports landscape in Saudi Arabia

Programme

Day one opens jointly with the World Stadiums & Arenas Summit, then moves to the Athlete Stage for panels on Saudi Arabia's high-performance ecosystem, active living as a talent pipeline, sustainable revenue models and sports medicine. Day two covers integrated performance science, wellbeing, the digital athlete and wearables, athlete data ownership and the development of Saudi coaches. Team Saudi's High Performance Director Dr Jon Rudd chairs the conference, and speakers include the heads of the Saudi rugby, basketball, swimming, jiu-jitsu and baseball and softball federations.
