Bundeskongress Chirurgie 2027

The Bundeskongress Chirurgie is the national congress of Germany's office-based surgeons, held for more than 30 years by the Professional Association of Office-Based Surgeons (BNC) and the Federal Association for Outpatient Surgery (BAO). The 2027 edition, themed 'Ambulante Chirurgie – Sicher. Effizient. Vor Ort' (outpatient surgery: safe, efficient, local), takes place at NürnbergConvention Center Ost with the support of more than 20 surgical societies and professional associations.

For practice teams and young doctors

The Day of Medical Assistants (Tag der medizinischen Fachberufe) is expanded to two days in 2027, with practical training for practice staff and a look at the new Physician Assistant role. The Zukunftsforum Chirurgie offers young doctors and medical students an insight into outpatient surgery.

Industry exhibition

A large industry exhibition and industry workshops run alongside the congress, showing the latest products and developments for surgical practices, medical care centres and outpatient operating centres.
