efa:ON 2027

efa:ON is the leading industry event for electrical, building and lighting technology in Central Germany. Over three days in Leipzig, manufacturers and service providers, including many global market leaders, show energy-efficient building technology, smart automation and lighting solutions to tradespeople, planners and energy suppliers. It runs together with netze:ON, the trade fair for smart energy grids and digital infrastructure, and for the first time in 2027 with Sustainable Solutions, Saxony's renewable energy fair.

Three platforms

The 2027 edition links three fairs into one network for the energy and digital transitions.

• efa:ON – application in buildings: electrical, building and lighting systems
• netze:ON – distribution and transportation: electricity and heating networks, digital networks
• Sustainable Solutions (guest event, two of the three days) – generation and storage: solar, smart storage, EV charging, green HVAC

Who attends

Visitors come from the electrical trades, industrial and commercial companies and energy supply companies, along with wholesalers, planners, architects, engineers, building operators, investors and the next generation of the industry, mainly from Central Germany and neighbouring regions.

Key figures

efa:ON and netze:ON 2025 brought together 210 exhibitors and 11,800 visitors. A practical specialist programme and themed areas focus on the energy and digital transition, and an official fair app gathers all event information.
