About this event

ERA is the International Renewable Energy Exhibition (Salon international des énergies renouvelables), held in Oran. ERA 2027 is framed by Algeria's national energy strategy for a diversified, low-carbon energy mix, with energy mix, decarbonisation and green hydrogen as its headline themes.

A bridge between electricity and renewables

This edition brings together the electricity and renewable energy sectors around a shared vision of energy security: enough generating capacity to meet domestic demand while honouring electricity export contracts. It also addresses decarbonising petrochemicals, cement and steel to meet the climate requirements of importing markets, particularly the European Union.
