How much does registration cost?

Full registration from 26 September is US$1,610 for SEG members and US$1,850 for non-members. Student (US$250/350), academia (US$850) and one-day (US$590/670) rates are also listed. The early-bird deadline was 25 September 2026.

What does registration include?

Access to all sessions, exhibition access, and luncheon and coffee breaks. Travel, accommodation and visas are not included.

Is there a hotel rate for attendees?

Yes. The Kempinski Al Othman Hotel offers deluxe rooms at about SAR 724.50 (US$194) per night including breakfast and taxes, subject to availability.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations received by 25 September 2026 were refunded minus a US$50 fee; no refunds after that date. Substitutions are allowed with written approval.

About this event

SIGHT (Seismic Imaging & Geophysical HPC Technologies) is a new three-day technical symposium from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, hosted by Aramco in Al Khobar. It focuses on where advanced seismic imaging, physics-rich full-waveform inversion, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing meet, and how they change the way exploration teams see and model the subsurface.

Technical focus

The programme is organised around three pillars (imaging, compute and integration) and six technical topics, delivered through two parallel streams in the Al Maha Ballroom.

Programme

The schedule runs 20 technical sessions (S-1 to S-20) across two streams, two panels, a fireside chat and keynote presentations from 19 named keynote speakers, plus AI Labs and poster sessions. Highlights include an executive panel on exploration beyond giant discoveries on 26 October, a technical panel on AI in seismic imaging and inversion on 27 October, and a fireside chat on HPC for AI and energy innovation on 28 October.
