Manufacturing and industrial events in Saudi Arabia 2026–27: what to attend

Saudi Arabia's manufacturing and industrial event season runs from October to June, with a second cluster in September. Mid-December 2026 is the busiest week: five co-located shows open in Dammam on the same day that CPHI Middle East opens in Riyadh.

Pick by production line, not by the size of the event. Most Saudi industrial shows serve one value chain, so the right one depends on what you make or buy.

Metals, machinery and tools

FABEX Saudi Arabia 2026 is the 13th edition of an exhibition for steel, fabrication, metal forming and finishing. Mach & Tools Saudi 2026 covers manufacturing equipment, automation, industrial machinery, and safety and quality. International Hardware Fair Saudi Arabia 2027 returns for its second edition after a 2025 debut that its organizer says drew 13,110 visitors.

Plastics, paper and packaging

Riyadh International Industry Week (26–29 April 2027, RICEC) is the main date. Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2027 and Saudi Print & Pack 2027 are both in their 22nd edition, and Saudi Smart Logistics & Warehousing 2027 is in its 5th, covering racking, forklifts, warehouse software and cold chain. In the east, Gulf 4P 2026 covers the same four industries near the Eastern Province's petrochemical plants. PAPER-ME KSA 2026, in Jeddah on 16–18 November, is the third Saudi edition of PAPER ME and covers paper machines, tissue, corrugated board and converting.

Process industries

CPHI Middle East 2026 expects 60,000 visitors and 1,000+ exhibiting brands in 2026, according to its organizer. Saudi Arabia Coatings Show 2027 covers raw materials, lab and packaging equipment, testing and plant machinery for coatings production.

Automotive and mobility

Automechanika Riyadh 2027 is Messe Frankfurt's aftermarket show for Saudi Arabia, and the 2027 edition moves to Riyadh Front. EVS Saudi Arabia 2026 covers electric vehicles, batteries and charging in Dammam.

Flow and cooling equipment

PVPC Global 2027 moves to Dammam for its 5th edition after four editions in the UAE. It shares a floor with Refrigeration Expo 2027, which calls itself Saudi Arabia's first dedicated refrigeration and process cooling exhibition.

• Trade shows such as FABEX Saudi Arabia 2026, Mach & Tools Saudi 2026 or Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2027 are built around stands and live machinery. Most admit industry professionals free after online registration.
• Sourcing fairs bring manufacturers, many of them Chinese, to Saudi importers and distributors. CTW Saudi Arabia 2026 (China Trade Week, 4th edition) covers building materials, electronics, HVAC and hand tools. China Homelife Saudi Arabia Expo and Sourcing Expo Saudi Arabia 2027 focus on home and retail goods.
• Government-led forums such as Future Minerals Forum 2027 are built around ministerial sessions, investor matchmaking and signing ceremonies. Go there for partnerships and project pipelines, not for a product shortlist.
• Technical stages run inside some shows. Refrigeration Expo 2027 plans 80+ speakers across four tracks for 2027.

Riyadh hosts most of Saudi Arabia's manufacturing events, spread across four venues. Check which one your event uses before you book a hotel, because they are far apart.

The working week runs Sunday to Thursday.

Decide what you need to learn or sell before you book, and set up meetings before you land.

For buyers:

1. Write the purchase criteria first. Throughput, tolerances, certifications, local service coverage and spare-parts lead times.
2. Shortlist from the exhibitor list. FABEX Saudi Arabia 2026 and CPHI Middle East 2026 publish exhibitor lists before the show.
3. Use the bundled weeks. One trip to Dammam in December covers machinery, plastics and EVs. One trip to Riyadh in April covers plastics, printing and warehousing.

For suppliers:

1. Pick the value chain, not the biggest show. A valve maker reaches more of its buyers at PVPC Global 2027 than at a broad construction show.
2. Use co-location. Shows that share a venue share visitors, so one stand can reach two audiences.
3. Follow up within a week. Repeat the specification you discussed, and name the next step.
