Manufacturing and industrial events in Saudi Arabia 2026–27: what to attend

Saudi Arabia's manufacturing and industrial event season runs from October to May, with a second cluster in September. October to December 2026 is the busiest stretch. Riyadh hosts most of the shows. Jeddah has the food trade, and the Eastern Province hosts the flow and cooling equipment shows at Dhahran Expo.

Pick by production line, not by the size of the event. Saudi Arabia has fewer broad industrial shows than the UAE, so most events here serve one value chain. The table groups them by who gets the most out of them.

Metals, machinery and fabrication

FABEX Saudi Arabia 2026 is the 13th edition of a show that started in 2012. It runs with Mach Saudi Arabia and Metal & Steel Saudi Arabia, and covers steel processing, sheet metalworking, foundry and casting, cutting and laser machines, welding, robotics and finishing.

Plastics, petrochemicals and packaging

Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2027 is the 22nd edition, set for 26–29 April 2027 at RICEC. It runs alongside Saudi Print & Pack 2027 as part of Riyadh International Industry Week. The organizer reports 522+ exhibitors from 23+ countries for its 2023 edition. Neither show is on atndr yet.

Process industries: pharma and food

CPHI Middle East 2026 expects 60,000 visitors and 1,000+ exhibiting brands in 2026, after welcoming 30,000+ visitors in 2024, according to its organizer. Food producers have two November shows: Saudi Food Expo 2026 in Riyadh, which lists kitchen equipment and packaging among its 12 categories, and Foodex Saudi 2026, the 14th edition, in Jeddah. Both are food sourcing events first, not machinery shows.

Flow and cooling equipment

PVPC Global 2027 moves to Dammam for its 5th edition after four editions in the UAE. It shares a floor and a badge with Refrigeration Expo 2027, which calls itself Saudi Arabia's first dedicated refrigeration and process cooling exhibition.

Go to a trade show to buy or sell equipment, and to a forum to meet policy makers and investors.

• Trade shows such as FABEX Saudi Arabia 2026, PVPC Global 2027 or Big 5 Construct Saudi 2027 (Architecture & Finishes) are built around stands. Most admit industry professionals free after online registration.
• Government-led forums such as Future Minerals Forum 2027 are built around ministerial sessions, investor matchmaking and signing ceremonies. The organizer reports that the 2026 edition drew 21,500 attendees and agreements and MoUs worth SAR 100 billion. Go there for partnerships and project pipelines, not for a product shortlist.
• Sourcing fairs such as China Homelife Saudi Arabia Expo bring factories to buyers. They suit importers and distributors.
• Technical stages run inside some shows. Refrigeration Expo 2027 plans 80+ speakers across four tracks for 2027.

Most Saudi industrial trade shows are free for trade visitors who register online in advance. A trade visitor is an industry professional who registers to walk the show floor. Organizers rarely publish a visitor price, so check the registration page linked from each atndr listing.

Register before you travel, with a company email and your real job title. Trade passes are meant for professionals. Food and construction shows in Riyadh and Jeddah open at 4 pm, so plan meetings for the evening.

Riyadh hosts most of Saudi Arabia's manufacturing events, spread across four venues. Check which one your event uses before you book a hotel, because they are far apart.

Dammam puts the flow and cooling shows close to the Eastern Province's oil, gas and utility operators. Jeddah hosts Foodex Saudi 2026 for the food trade. The working week runs Sunday to Thursday.

Decide what you need to learn or sell before you book, and set up meetings before you land.

For buyers:

1. Write the purchase criteria first. Throughput, tolerances, certifications, local service coverage and spare-parts lead times.
2. Shortlist from the exhibitor list. FABEX Saudi Arabia 2026 and CPHI Middle East 2026 publish exhibitor lists before the show.
3. Ask every supplier the same questions.

For suppliers:

1. Pick the value chain, not the biggest show. A valve maker reaches more of its buyers at PVPC Global 2027 than at a broad construction show.
2. Use co-location. PVPC Global 2027 and Refrigeration Expo 2027 share one badge, as do Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2027 and Saudi Print & Pack 2027, so one stand can reach two audiences.
3. Follow up within a week. Repeat the specification you discussed, and name the next step.
