How to get a free visitor pass to a trade show in 2026–27

You get a free visitor pass by registering online, in advance, as an industry professional, on the organizer's own visitor page. The steps below work for most Gulf trade exhibitions.

1. Find the official registration page. Start from the organizer's site, or the "Tickets" link on the event's atndr listing. Register there rather than through a third party, so you see the organizer's real price and rules.
2. Pick the entry-level pass. Organizers name it differently: General Pass at LEAP 2027, Expo at Black Hat MEA 2026, Visitor Badge at the World Future Energy Summit 2027. The paid tiers above it are for lounges, summits and meetings.
3. Register as a trade visitor. Use your real job title, company name and a work email. Forms ask about your job function and what you source, and those answers decide whether you qualify.
4. Register before the offer deadline. Some passes are free only until a set date, then carry a price. Book as soon as your dates are fixed.
5. Save the confirmation. Most shows email a QR badge or a confirmation you exchange for a badge on site. Check your spam folder; Gulfood Manufacturing's admission policy warns that confirmations can land there.
6. Bring photo ID. Take a passport, national ID or driving licence that matches the name on your registration. Badges are personal and can't be passed to a colleague.
7. Sort out your visa separately. A free pass is not a visa, though some forms, such as Gulfood Manufacturing's, offer an invitation letter.

A free pass is meant for trade visitors: people who work in the industry the show serves. Organizers use three checks.

• Trade status. Gulfood Manufacturing's admission policy says the event is strictly for trade and business professionals, and that the organizer can refuse entry. The World Future Energy Summit 2027 gives a Buyer badge only to people with purchasing authority; everyone else gets a Visitor badge.
• Age. Minimum ages differ by show, and they are enforced at the door. Big 5 Global 2026 admits visitors aged 21 and over. Gulfood Manufacturing's admission policy also says 21. Black Hat MEA 2026 requires attendees to be 18 or over. The Global Health Exhibition 2026 admits people aged 16 and over.
• Proof of employment. Most organizers rely on the registration form. A work email and a business card help if staff ask at badge collection.

Many of the region's largest shows are free for trade visitors, but not all. The table shows the entry-level pass for each event, as published on the official ticket page in September 2026. Prices change in phases, so check before you register.

Free and discounted passes are time-limited, often ending weeks before the show.

• Global Health Exhibition 2026: the General Pass is free until 11 October 2026, two weeks before the show opens. After that, the page lists the regular price of SAR 198.
• Big 5 Global 2026: the Visitor pass is AED 100 until 15 October 2026 and AED 250 after. Tickets are non-refundable once bought.
• GITEX Global 2026: the early-bird visitor price of AED 465 expired on 29 September 2026. The standard price is AED 520, including 5% VAT.
• LEAP 2027: in late September 2026 the ticket page showed early-bird pricing running for about 20 more weeks, into February 2027. The Priority Pass price doubles from $400 to $800 when that phase ends.

The rule: register for the free pass the day you decide to go, and decide on any upgrade before the first price change.

A free pass gets you onto the show floor. It usually includes the exhibition halls, open stages and the event app, and it leaves out summits, lounges, trainings and arranged meetings.

What the entry passes include, in the organizers' own lists:

• LEAP 2027 General Pass: the exhibition, full conference access across the LEAP and DeepFest stages, app networking and the Rocket Fuel pitch competition.
• Black Hat MEA 2026 Expo pass: the exhibition and Blacksite, the networking app, the Briefings and Arsenal, several open stages, and a shuttle bus between the SAB metro station and Malham.
• Global Health Exhibition 2026 General Pass: exhibition access, CME-accredited sessions and the event app.
• Cairo ICT 2026: entry to all four co-located shows (Cairo ICT, PAFIX, AIDC Expo and Connecta) on all four days.
• World Future Energy Summit 2027 Visitor badge: the exhibition, the conferences and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week public events.

You usually pay extra for summits, lounges, fast-track entry, pre-arranged meetings, trainings and parking. At Black Hat MEA 2026, the Gold pass adds two pre-arranged business meetings and the Executive Summit. At Big 5 Global 2026, the Delegate ticket adds a Leadership Summit. At WHX Dubai 2027, the Standard ticket covers the exhibition, and conference access starts at the Platinum tier.

• Registering too late. A pass that was free last month can cost money now. Deadlines for free offers can fall weeks before the show opens.
• Assuming every show is free. Several large Dubai exhibitions charge visitors at the entry level.
• Bringing someone underage. A colleague's teenage child, or a 19-year-old intern, can be turned away at a show with a 21-and-over rule. Check the minimum age for each event.
• Using a personal email and a vague job title. Trade passes are for industry professionals, and a form that looks like a consumer's can be rejected or downgraded.
• Sharing or lending a badge. Badges are personal. Gulfood Manufacturing's policy, for example, says holders must not let anyone else wear them.
• Ignoring conflicting rules. Rules on the same show's pages sometimes differ. Gulfood Manufacturing's registration form asks visitors to confirm they are 18 or over, while its admission policy says under-21s are not admitted. When pages disagree, follow the stricter rule or email the organizer.
