Tourism and hospitality events in Saudi Arabia in 2026–27: the B2B calendar

Saudi Arabia's B2B tourism and hospitality calendar has two busy stretches: November–December 2026 and March–April 2027, with a second wave of trade shows in June, September and October 2027. Riyadh hosts nearly everything, mostly at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. Jeddah and Makkah host the shows built around Hajj and Umrah.

Two shows moved recently: SEA Expo and Merath Expo were rescheduled to 1–3 June 2027, according to their organizers. SEA Expo Connex, planned for 21–22 October 2026 at Six Flags Qiddiya City, was cancelled by its organizer.

Hotel investment: Future Hospitality Summit

Future Hospitality Summit Saudi Arabia 2027 runs 21–22 March 2027 in Riyadh. It is a two-day investment summit run by The Bench, which also runs FHS World in Dubai and FHS Africa. Its audience is hotel owners, investors, developers, operators and government bodies; the organizer's 2026 themes covered investment and real estate, wellness and lifestyle, technology, and F&B. Brands use it to announce management agreements: at the 2026 edition, Blacksand and Marriott International announced a deal, according to the organizer. It is a paid event (see costs below).

Food service, F&B and equipment: HORECA Riyadh and Host Arabia

HORECA Riyadh 2026 and Host Arabia 2026 run together on 7–9 December 2026 at Riyadh Front. HORECA Riyadh is Semark's food, beverage and hospitality trade show; Host Arabia is the Saudi edition of Fiera Milano's HostMilano, focused on food service equipment, coffee, bakery and tableware. The 2025 edition of HORECA Riyadh, held with Host Arabia, covered 42,000 square metres and reported more than 500 exhibitors and 51,000 professional visitors, according to Hospitality News Middle East.

Hotel supply and fit-out: Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia

Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia 2027 runs 11–13 September 2027 at Riyadh Front, 4pm to 10pm daily. The organizer, dmg events, says the 2026 edition ran in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Tourism. It is for trade professionals only: hotel owners and developers, architects and interior designers, hotel managers, F&B and procurement teams. It is co-located with INDEX Saudi Arabia and ORGATEC WORKSPACE Saudi Arabia, so fit-out buyers can cover furniture and interiors in one visit.

Makkah suppliers: Hotel & Restaurant Supplies Expo

Hotel & Restaurant Supplies Expo 2026 runs 16–18 November 2026, 4pm to 10pm, at the Makkah Chamber Exhibitions & Conferences Center. The organizer calls it the eighth edition. It suits suppliers selling to the hotels, restaurants and cafés that serve pilgrims in Makkah.

The travel trade meets at two Riyadh shows: Saudi Travel Market in April and WTM Spotlight Riyadh in October. Destinations, hotels, airlines, tour operators and travel agencies use them to sell to Saudi outbound travellers and to inbound buyers.

• Saudi Travel Market 2027 runs 2–4 April 2027 in Riyadh, 2pm to 10pm daily, according to the organizer. It has a hosted buyer programme for travel buyers. Türkiye's tourism promotion agency signed as platinum sponsor of the 2026 edition, which gives a sense of the exhibitor mix: foreign destinations courting Saudi travellers.
• WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2027 runs 5–7 October 2027 at Riyadh Front, 13:00 to 21:00. It is run by RX, the organizer of WTM London and Arabian Travel Market. Its audience includes travel professionals and buyers as well as Saudi consumers, so expect a mixed floor rather than a trade-only show.

Two other events are worth knowing. TOURISE, a tourism summit chaired by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Tourism, has announced its 2027 summit for 23–25 March 2027 in Riyadh, by invitation. It falls in the same week as Future Hospitality Summit, so senior delegates can cover both. TOURISE is not listed on atndr yet. And the region's largest travel trade show is in Dubai: Arabian Travel Market 2027 runs 3–6 May 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Saudi Arabia also has B2B events for three tourism niches: pilgrim services, theme parks and attractions, and museums and heritage.

Hajj and Umrah services. The Hajj Conference & Exhibition 2026 runs 8–11 November 2026 in Jeddah. It is organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah with the Pilgrim Experience Program, a Vision 2030 programme. More than 520 government, private and non-profit entities are taking part in the 2026 edition, with service providers from more than 150 countries, according to Asharq Al-Awsat. It is the main meeting point for Hajj affairs offices, transport and accommodation providers and technology suppliers. Visitor registration is on the official site.

Attractions and entertainment venues. SEA Expo 2027 runs 1–3 June 2027 at Riyadh Front, 3pm to 9pm. It is a trade show for the people who build and run theme parks, water parks and family entertainment centres: operators, developers, investors and ride and equipment suppliers. It is a B2B show, not an entertainment event.

Museums and heritage. Merath Expo 2027, the Middle East Museums & Heritage Expo, runs on the same dates and site as SEA Expo. It covers exhibition design, audiovisual, conservation, security and museum technology for the bodies developing Saudi Arabia's heritage sites.

Go to a summit to meet investors and decision-makers; go to a trade show to buy, sell or source. The costs differ as much as the formats.

Summit prices. Future Hospitality Summit sells delegate passes. Its pass page lists an Education Pass at US$1,000 and a Student Pass at US$250, a 40% discount for startups, and group discounts of 10% for two passes and 15% for three or more. Investors apply for an investor pass, and the organizer decides access.

Trade show entry. Trade shows register visitors on their websites, and most are for trade professionals only. Hotel & Hospitality Expo, for example, admits no one under 18 to the halls. Choose by your role, then check dates, hours and entry rules on the official site.

1. You invest in or develop hotels. Start with Future Hospitality Summit in March. If you can get an invitation, TOURISE is the same week.
2. You sell equipment, F&B or fit-out to hotels and restaurants. Exhibit or walk HORECA Riyadh and Host Arabia in December, or Hotel & Hospitality Expo in September. Selling to Makkah hotels? Add the Makkah supplies expo in November.
3. You sell a destination, hotel or travel product to Saudi travellers. Saudi Travel Market in April and WTM Spotlight Riyadh in October.
4. You serve pilgrims. The Hajj Conference & Exhibition in November.
5. You supply attractions or heritage projects. SEA Expo and Merath Expo in June.

Three practical checks apply to every show. Hours: Saudi trade shows often run from mid-afternoon to 10pm, so plan meetings for the evening. Dates: two attractions shows moved in 2026, so confirm dates close to travel.
