12th Iraq Energy Expo & Conference 2027

The Iraq Energy Expo & Conference (IEE) is the country's main meeting point for the power and energy sector, combining an exhibition for electricity and renewable energy with a joint Iraq Energy Expo for oil and gas. The 12th edition runs under the patronage of the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Electricity, the Ministry of Oil and the National Investment Commission, and aims to connect global suppliers and investors with Iraqi government entities and the private sector.

Five exhibition sectors

The show floor is split into five dedicated sectors that follow the government's energy plans, from combined-cycle and solar projects to grid upgrades and gas.

Conference programme

Two conference strands run alongside the exhibition. The Iraq Energy Pulse (IEP) conference brings senior executives and decision-makers together on energy policy, regional cooperation, grid resilience, renewable finance and local content. The Technical Excellence Forum focuses on grid stability amid rising demand, smart infrastructure, cybersecurity for critical infrastructure and using associated gas for power generation. Workshops complete the programme.

Visitors include government ministries and national authorities, utilities and regulators, EPC contractors and project developers, systems integrators, distributors and trading houses, and manufacturers across power, storage and energy management.

The organizer reports 11 previous editions, more than 35,000 sqm of exhibition space, 25+ participating countries and 850+ exhibiting companies.
