Barcelona Wine Week 2027

Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) is the leading trade event for quality Spanish wine, organised by Fira de Barcelona with the backing of the Spanish Wine Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture, ICEX and other sector bodies. Its 2027 edition fills Halls 1 and 2 of the Montjuïc venue, with more than 90% of the space reserved six months ahead.

The show is organised by territory, designation of origin (DO) and other quality seals so buyers can tour producing regions, varieties and styles. More than 90 DOs and quality seals from 16 autonomous communities are expected, among them DOCa Rioja, DOC Priorat, DO Ribera del Duero, DO Rías Baixas, DO Rueda and DO Cava. Leading groups such as Freixenet, Raventós Codorníu, La Rioja Alta and Juvé & Camps have confirmed.

Business focus

BWW expects 1,300 exhibiting companies and more than 13,500 business meetings in 2027. Buyer programmes target priority markets including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands and Canada, plus growth markets such as South Korea, Japan, Brazil, India and Australia, and the show is strengthening its links with Spain's Horeca channel.

Programme

The 2027 tastings, talks and training sessions centre on age-worthy wines, with references of at least ten years from different regions and production methods, alongside the BWW HUB spaces on macrotrends, wine tourism and healthy consumption.
