São Paulo's trade fair calendar for 2026–27 by month and industry, the three exhibition venues, entry rules and visas for business visitors.

By the atndr teamPublished 8 min read

The short answer

São Paulo's biggest business events in 2026–27 are sector trade fairs: Fenatran (9–13 November 2026), Feicon (6–9 April 2027), Automec (20–24 April), APAS Show (17–20 May), Hospitalar (18–21 May), Fispal Tecnologia (22–25 June) and Futurecom (5–7 October 2027). Nearly all run at São Paulo Expo, Expo Center Norte or Distrito Anhembi. The busiest stretch is March to June; most fairs are free for registered professionals.

Key takeaways

  • The season peaks from March to June 2027, with a second wave from August to October; atndr lists nothing between late November 2026 and late February 2027.
  • Three venues host almost everything: São Paulo Expo in the south (Rodovia dos Imigrantes), and Expo Center Norte and Distrito Anhembi in the north zone.
  • Most fairs are free for trade visitors who register online in advance. Hospitalar charges for entry, and FCE Pharma and FCE Cosmetique are free only for industry professionals.
  • Many shows refuse under-16s or under-18s and enforce a business dress code: no shorts, tank tops or flip-flops.
  • Since 10 April 2025, citizens of Australia, Canada and the United States need a visa to enter Brazil.

When is the trade fair season in São Paulo?

São Paulo's business event season runs from late February to November, with the heaviest months between March and June. The calendar thins out after Fenatran in November 2026 and restarts with Expo Revestir in late February 2027. June is the single busiest month: pharma, cosmetics, security, electronics, food technology and franchising fairs all fall within four weeks.

Which São Paulo trade fairs are worth attending, by industry?

Pick the fair that matches what you buy or sell: São Paulo's shows are specialised, and most call themselves the largest of their kind in Latin America.

Healthcare, pharma and cosmetics

Hospitalar 2027 runs 18–21 May at São Paulo Expo, 11:00 to 20:00. It is the region's main fair for hospital leaders, clinicians, purchasing teams and medical suppliers, with paid congresses alongside the exhibition. FCE Pharma and FCE Cosmetique share São Paulo Expo on 8–10 June and cover ingredients, processing machinery, packaging and lab equipment for drug and beauty manufacturers. Their last combined edition drew 23,282 visitors and 650+ brands, according to the organiser.

Food, retail and hospitality

APAS Show 2027, the 40th edition, runs 17–20 May at Expo Center Norte. It connects supermarket owners and buyers with food and drink manufacturers. Fispal Tecnologia and TecnoCarne run together on 22–25 June for processing, packaging and meatpacking technology; the pair drew 48,000+ visitors in 2026. Restaurant and bakery buyers go to Fispal Food Service (18–21 May, Distrito Anhembi), hotels to Equipotel (14–17 September).

Construction and machinery

Feicon 2027 (6–9 April) opens Brazil's construction year with 1,000+ brands across eight halls at São Paulo Expo. Expo Revestir (22–26 February) is the tile and finishes show run by Anfacer. M&T Expo (16–19 November 2027) is the bauma-network fair for construction and mining machinery; its 2024 edition recorded 67,465 qualified visitors. Concrete Show covers the concrete chain on 17–19 August.

Industry, transport and energy

Fenatran 2026 (9–13 November) is the biennial road freight show; its previous edition had 74,000+ visitors from 53 countries. Automec (20–24 April) covers the automotive aftermarket, Plástico Brasil (15–19 March) plastics and rubber, and Expomafe (4–8 May) machine tools and automation. Energy buyers have Intersolar South America (24–26 August) and the electrical fair FIEE (14–17 September).

Technology, people and franchising

Futurecom 2027 (5–7 October) gathers telecom operators, ISPs, cloud and data-centre firms. CONARH (10–12 August) is ABRH Brasil's national HR congress, and ABF Franchising Expo (30 June–3 July) lets investors compare franchise brands side by side.

Where are São Paulo's exhibition venues?

Three venues host nearly every fair on the calendar, and they sit on opposite sides of the city. Check which one your event uses before booking a hotel: São Paulo Expo is in the south, the other two in the north zone.

Venue Area What it hosts Getting there
São Paulo Expo Rodovia dos Imigrantes km 1.5, south zone Hospitalar, Feicon, Automec, Fenatran, Expomafe, Futurecom, FCE Pharma Nearest airport is Congonhas; organisers have run shuttles from Santos-Imigrantes metro
Expo Center Norte Rua José Bernardo Pinto 333, Vila Guilherme APAS Show, Bett Brasil, Intersolar, Equipotel, FESPA Brasil Shuttles have run from Tietê metro; about 4,000 parking spaces
Distrito Anhembi Av. Olavo Fontoura 1209, Santana Intermodal, Fispal Food Service, Eletrolar Show About 6,000 parking spaces; linked to a convention hotel

Distrito Anhembi is the former Anhembi complex, run by GL events since 2022 and reopened in June 2024 after a revamp. It covers about 400,000 m² with 28 event spaces. LABACE is the exception to the three-venue rule: the business aviation show takes place on the apron at Campo de Marte Airport in Santana.

Shuttle routes change from fair to fair, so check the organiser's visitor page a week before you go.

What do you need to sort out before travelling to São Paulo for a trade fair?

Plan the visa, the registration and the dress code before anything else.

  • Visa. Since 10 April 2025, passport holders from Australia, Canada and the United States need a visa to enter Brazil; they apply for an electronic visa online. Other nationalities should check the rules with the nearest Brazilian consulate.
  • Registration (credenciamento). Most fairs are free for professionals who pre-register online, and some, such as Expo Revestir, have no on-site registration at all. Fenatran's free registration closes on 7 November 2026, two days before the show.
  • Proof that you work in the sector. FCE Pharma, FCE Cosmetique and Analitica validate visitors by company registration (CNPJ and CNAE), so foreign visitors should carry a business card and company details.
  • Age limits. Fenasan and Plástico Brasil refuse under-16s, Expo Revestir, FIEE and Analitica under-18s.
  • Dress code. Plástico Brasil, FESPA Brasil and ABF Franchising Expo turn away visitors in shorts, tank tops or flip-flops.
  • Hours. Many fairs open in the early afternoon and run to 20:00 or 21:00. Fenatran opens at 15:00 on its first day; Intermodal runs 13:00 to 21:00.

Traffic between the north-zone venues and São Paulo Expo can be slow at rush hour, so stay near the venue for fairs you will attend for several days.

Free or paid: what does it cost to visit?

Visiting the exhibition floor is free at most São Paulo fairs; congresses and a few fairs charge.

Event Exhibition entry Paid extras
Fenasan 2026 Free with registration Congress: R$ 2,060 for non-members, R$ 780 for AESabesp members
Hospitalar 2027 Paid ticket (2027 prices not yet published) Congress tickets, which include the fair
FCE Pharma / FCE Cosmetique Free for pharma and cosmetics professionals Entrepreneur Ticket for suppliers and others
Intersolar South America Free if obtained online in advance Conference tickets
ABF Franchising Expo Ticket (2027 sales not yet open) or exhibitor invitation None; Arena do Conhecimento talks are free
Intermodal South America Free pre-registration Interlog Summit congress, sold separately

Prices above are the organisers' published figures for those editions; check each official site before you go, because they change from year to year.

How do you get the most out of a São Paulo trade fair?

Treat the fair as a week of meetings, not a day of browsing.

  1. Pair co-located shows. Fispal Tecnologia and TecnoCarne share São Paulo Expo on 22–25 June 2027; FCE Pharma, FCE Cosmetique and Exposec all run 8–10 June; Febrava and FIEE overlap on 14–17 September with Equipotel across town.
  2. Use the matchmaking. FCE runs a Business Round (Rodada de Negócios) of pre-arranged buyer meetings, Expo Revestir has announced its largest international buyer programme for 2027, and Futurecom runs targeted meetups.
  3. Book the congress if you need content. The exhibition is usually free, but the strongest sessions (Hospitalar's congresses, Fenasan's technical meeting, Interlog Summit) are paid.
  4. Bring Portuguese material. Exhibitors are mostly Brazilian, and fair websites are often in Portuguese first.
  5. Watch the schedule. Some fairs are biennial or irregular: Fenatran runs every two years, and M&T Expo skipped from 2024 to 2027.
