The short answer

Singapore's business events lean towards policy-heavy conferences and Asia-Pacific trade shows. Most are held at Sands Expo and Convention Centre (Marina Bay Sands), Singapore EXPO or Suntec Singapore. The best known are the Singapore FinTech Festival (18–20 November 2026), ITB Asia (21–23 October 2026), Singapore International Energy Week (26–30 October 2026), FHA (20–23 April 2027), Asia Tech x Singapore (26–28 May 2027) and Sibos, which Swift brings to Singapore on 20–23 September 2027.

Key takeaways

  • October and November are the peak. ITB Asia, SIEW, SWITCH, EDUtech Asia and the Singapore FinTech Festival all fall between 21 October and 20 November 2026.
  • A second season runs from April to May 2027, with FHA, Sea Asia, OSEA, GITEX AI ASIA, HR Tech Asia, Ecosperity Week and ATxSG.
  • Several flagship events are organised or backed by government agencies, including the Energy Market Authority (SIEW), Enterprise Singapore (SWITCH) and IMDA (ATxSG). Expect a lot of policy content.
  • Conference passes can be expensive. An SFF 2026 Delegate Pass was listed at SGD 1,500 in October 2026, and policymakers get a free Policy Pass.
  • Check the venue. Sands Expo is at Marina Bay in the city centre, while Singapore EXPO is in the east, about 10 minutes' drive from Changi Airport.

Finance

The Singapore FinTech Festival is backed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. It puts central banks and regulators in the same halls as banks and fintechs. In 2027, Swift brings Sibos, its annual conference, to Singapore for the third time, after 2003 and 2015. Swift has announced Paris for 2028 and Dubai for 2029.

Energy, sustainability and maritime

The Energy Market Authority organises SIEW. Its two-day summit runs 26–27 October 2026 and includes the Singapore-IEA Forum. Temasek's Ecosperity Week, WindEnergy Asia-Pacific and OSEA cover sustainability and offshore energy. Sea Asia is the maritime industry's marketplace.

Technology and AI

ATxSG is organised by IMDA and Informa. It pairs an enterprise technology show at Singapore EXPO (ATxEnterprise) with an invitation-led summit at Capella Singapore. Enterprise Singapore runs SWITCH for deep tech founders and investors. GITEX AI ASIA and SuperAI focus on AI.

Travel, food and consumer

ITB Asia shares its floor with MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia. FHA, Restaurant Asia, Seafood Expo Asia and BeautyAsia are buyer-focused trade shows.

Which venues host Singapore's business events?

Three venues host almost every event on atndr's Singapore calendar. Two are in the city centre, and one is in the east near the airport.

Venue Area Typical events Getting there
Sands Expo and Convention Centre (Marina Bay Sands) Marina Bay, city centre ITB Asia, SIEW, Sibos, Sea Asia, OSEA, SuperAI Bayfront MRT (Circle and Downtown lines), which serves Marina Bay Sands
Singapore EXPO, 1 Expo Drive East, near Changi Airport Singapore FinTech Festival, FHA, ATxEnterprise Expo MRT (East-West and Downtown lines). About 10 minutes' drive from Changi Airport
Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, 1 Raffles Boulevard City centre ITAP, Agri-Food Innovation Summit, HR Tech Asia City-centre location close to the Marina Bay hotels

Singapore EXPO is the largest of the three. Its operator lists 123,000 sqm of indoor and outdoor space across 10 halls, plus 32 meeting rooms. If your event is at Singapore EXPO, a hotel near Changi or in the east can save travel time. For Sands Expo or Suntec, stay in the Marina Bay or City Hall area.

How much do Singapore conference passes cost?

Singapore's big conferences charge a lot more than its trade shows. Trade visitors to shows such as FHA and ITB Asia register online, while summit-style events sell tiered passes.

Singapore FinTech Festival 2026 passes as listed on the official site in October 2026 (prices rise in stages, so earlier is cheaper):

Pass Price What it adds
MeetUp Pass SGD 380 Exhibition plus pre-agreed 15-minute meetings
Startup Pass SGD 650 For start-ups incorporated in the last five years
Delegate Pass SGD 1,500 Premium content, SFF MeetUp, After Hours, three days of F&B
Executive Pass SGD 6,000 Concierge, Insights2040, SFF dinner, Executive Lounge
Policy Pass Free Central banks, regulators and government institutions

Group rates bring the Delegate Pass down to SGD 1,050 per person for teams of 3–5. SIEW sells passes through register.siew.gov.sg, and some of its partner events, such as the Asia Clean Energy Summit, need their own registration. ATxSG takes pre-registrations of interest before its passes go on sale.

How do I get the most out of a Singapore business event?

Plan around the event weeks and book meetings in advance. Use the side events, because much of the networking happens there.

  1. Pick the week, not just the event. SIEW, SWITCH and the Agri-Food Innovation Summit overlap in the last week of October 2026. Ecosperity Week and HR Tech Asia overlap in mid-May 2027.
  2. Use matchmaking. SFF's MeetUp books 15-minute meetings that both sides agree to. ITB Asia runs a buyer programme with a roughly one-to-one ratio of buyers to exhibitors.
  3. Check the invitation-only tracks. The ATxSummit and SFF's Insights2040 meetings (16–17 November 2026 at Sands Expo) are invitation-led. Apply early if you qualify.
  4. Book hotels early in peak weeks. Rooms near Marina Bay fill up during the October–November cluster and during Sibos.
  5. Confirm entry rules. Trade shows such as BeautyAsia and ITB Asia are B2B only. Check age limits and ID requirements on the official site.
