What are the timings?

On Saturday 24 October registration opens at 1pm and lectures start at 2pm. On Sunday 25 October registration starts at 8am, the opening ceremony is at 10am and the closing ceremony is scheduled for 6:30–7pm.

About this event

The Order of Pharmacists of Lebanon (OPL) holds its 27th annual Pharmacy Congress under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun. This edition's theme is "Healthcare Transformation Through Pharmacy Excellence", and it brings pharmacists from community, hospital, academic and industrial practice together across three parallel halls.

Programme

Saturday afternoon opens with registration and parallel sessions; Sunday starts with the opening ceremony and an international plenary keynote before tracks run through to the closing ceremony.

International keynote

The Sunday plenary, "Turning Resilience Into Pharmaceutical-Sector Reform", is given by Catherine Duggan, CEO of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), and Luís Lourenço, FIP Vice President, followed by the signing of OPL memoranda of understanding.

Pharmacists in community, hospital and industrial practice, pharmacy academics and researchers, students and pharmaceutical companies, with industry symposia held alongside the scientific sessions.
