IAW March 2027 – International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports

The IAW (Internationale Aktionswaren- und Importmesse) is a trade-only order fair for promotional goods and imported products, held twice a year at Koelnmesse in Cologne. The March 2027 edition is the 42nd IAW. Importers and manufacturers present standard lines, promotional and seasonal goods, private label ranges, clearance items and special offers to buyers from every retail sector.

The exhibition spans the whole retail assortment, so buyers can source across categories in two halls.

Who attends

The IAW is aimed exclusively at trade visitors; a valid trade licence is required and trade visitor checks are carried out on site. The organiser cites around 6,000 trade visitors from about 80 countries and more than 300 exhibitors from almost 30 countries on 30,000 sqm of exhibition space per edition.

Programme

Beyond the order floor, the fair runs an E-Commerce Arena and a speaker programme on retail topics such as private labels and new sales channels, along with a first-time exhibitor area that highlights new suppliers. A second 2027 edition follows on 14–16 September.
