World Energy Congress 2027

World Energy Congress is the World Energy Council's flagship gathering and, at over 100 years old, the longest-established event in the energy calendar. Held every two years, its 27th edition is co-hosted by the World Energy Council and the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh under the theme 'Inspiring Transformations, Delivering Transitions', linking long-range thinking with the practical action needed for more secure, sustainable and equitable energy.

Who attends

The Congress is designed for the whole energy ecosystem, from producers and suppliers to large energy users, with a strong government-to-government and government-to-business dimension. The organizer expects 18,000 international leaders, CEOs and innovators alongside more than 100 ministers.

• Ministers, senior officials and regulators
• Private and state-owned energy companies
• Buyers and energy users
• Investors and financiers
• Academia, civil society and intergovernmental organisations
• Start-ups and Future Energy Leaders

Programme

Content is drawn from the World Energy Council's global member community and built around eight content pillars, with ministerial and CEO dialogue, dedicated tracks for Future Energy Leaders and World Energy Women, and a developing-countries participation scheme.
