When and where is BIOFACH 2027?

From 16 to 19 February 2027 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre (NürnbergMesse), Messezentrum 1, 90471 Nürnberg. Hours are 09:00–18:00 Tuesday to Thursday and 09:00–17:00 on Friday.

Who can visit BIOFACH?

Only trade visitors from organic food, drinks and non-food sectors. The fair is not open to the public on any day, and you must prove your trade status, for example with a business registration, business card or employer letter.

How do I get a ticket?

Tickets are sold and vouchers redeemed exclusively online in the BIOFACH TicketShop, which the organizer says will open shortly. Tickets cannot be bought on site.

Does the ticket include public transport?

Yes. The trade fair ticket includes a KombiTicket for 2nd-class VGN public transport in the Nuremberg-Fürth-Stein-Oberasbach-Zirndorf fare zone during the fair.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes. A parking guidance system directs you to free spaces; the organizer lists the daily charge as EUR 14, with disabled parking near the entrances.

About this event

BIOFACH is the world's leading trade fair for organic food and has been the annual meeting place of the organic sector in Nuremberg since 1990. Producers, processors, wholesalers and retailers from the whole value chain meet to source products, spot trends and do business. The 2027 edition is built around the focus theme 'Resilient Food Systems. Resilient Future!', with the BIOFACH Congress running alongside the exhibition.

BIOFACH is open to trade visitors only; private persons are not admitted and proof of trade status is required when buying a ticket. Admissible sectors include:

What's on

The exhibition is paired with the BIOFACH Congress, special shows, innovation and trend areas and awards. Knowledge themes on the site include the future of food, the future of retail, out-of-home catering and planetary health. There are no direct sales on the stands, as this is a pure trade fair.
