About this event

IDWeek is the joint annual meeting of four societies working on infectious diseases: the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA) and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS). It brings together physicians, scientists, epidemiologists, pharmacists and public health professionals; the 2025 meeting drew more than 12,000 attendees.

The programme spans the science and practice of infectious diseases, healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention, HIV medicine and paediatric infectious diseases, with clinical sessions, abstract presentations and an exhibit hall.
