Business events in Dubai: how the 2026–27 calendar works

Choose by the meeting you need. Food production suppliers: Gulfood Manufacturing, 3–5 November at DWTC. Building products: Big 5 Global, 23–26 November at DWTC. AI strategy and partnerships: Dubai AI Festival, 26–27 October at DWTC. Data-centre operators and infrastructure: DCD Connect MENA, the same dates at Grand Hyatt Dubai. Compare exhibitor categories and pass eligibility before deciding.

Do not confuse the venues: GITEX separates its 7 December summit at DWTC from the 8–11 December expo at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City. WHX Dubai uses both venues on 25–28 January 2027; check where your exhibitors and sessions are.

GISEC 2027: use the official interest form. The old visitor registration still identifies 2026. Interest is not a confirmed badge.

These are targeted checks of the named events, not a new verification of every entry in the calendar below.

On 17 October 2026, atndr lists 131 published events in Dubai starting on or after that date. November has 48, the remainder of October 13, December 11 and January 2027 another 11. The 116 entries starting before June 2027 are a catalogue snapshot, not a complete census of Dubai events.

The table shows each month's flagships, not every event. Confirm dates on the organizer's site before you book.

Technology

GITEX Global 2026 runs 7–11 December 2026. The GITEX Summit takes 7 December, and the GITEX Global Expo runs 8–11 December at Expo City Dubai. Expand North Star 2026 (startups) runs alongside it. Finance, investment and crypto

The first week of November is Dubai's finance week: Dubai FinTech Summit 2026 (2–3 November, Madinat Jumeirah), then Future Islamic Finance Forum 2026, Fixed Income Alternatives Conference and Dubai Family Wealth Summit 2026 at the same resort. Bloomberg Invest Dubai 2026 follows on 12 November. For crypto, Blockchain Life 2026 runs 1–2 December at Festival Arena and TOKEN2049 Dubai 2027 runs 21–22 April 2027 at Madinat Jumeirah. AIM Congress 2027 (12–14 April 2027, DWTC) is for investors and policymakers.

Government and policy

The World Governments Summit 2027 runs 1–3 February 2027 at Madinat Jumeirah. Its 2026 edition reported more than 6,250 participants and representatives of more than 150 governments. It is a policy summit, not a trade show. Police and public-safety leaders meet earlier at the World Police Summit 2026 (16–18 November 2026, DWTC).

Healthcare

World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2027 runs 25–28 January 2027. Formerly Arab Health, it spans Dubai Exhibition Centre and DWTC. WHX Tech 2027 runs 26–28 January at DWTC alongside it, and dentists have AEEDC Dubai 2027 the week before. Pharmacy follows with DUPHAT 2027 (30 March–1 April). See healthcare events in the UAE.

Food, hospitality and travel

Gulfood 2027 runs 15–19 March 2027 across DWTC and Dubai Exhibition Centre. Food production has its own show, Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, on 3–5 November 2026, next to GulfHost 2026 for hotel and restaurant suppliers. Arabian Travel Market 2027 runs 3–6 May 2027 at DWTC and is the main travel trade event, and The Hotel Show Dubai 2027 closes the season on 1–3 June. See food and beverage events in the UAE.

Construction, real estate and energy

Big 5 Global 2026 runs 23–26 November 2026 at DWTC, with HVACR World 2026, Future FM 2026 and GeoWorld 2026 on the same dates. Property investors can consider the International Property Show (IPS) 2027 on 12–14 April 2027. In energy, WETEX 2026 (20–22 October) and the World Green Economy Summit (WGES) 2026 (21–22 October) share DWTC, and Middle East Energy 2027 returns on 11–13 May 2027 at Dubai Exhibition Centre. Security, media, aviation and manufacturing

Intersec Global 2027 (12–14 January 2027) covers security, safety and fire protection, and GISEC Global 2027 (4–6 May 2027) covers cybersecurity at Expo City; see the top security events in the Gulf. CABSAT 2027 moves to 4–6 May 2027 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, with a free visitor pass. The 1 Billion Followers Summit 2027 (8–10 January) is for creators and media brands. Aviation has MEBAA Show 2026 (8–10 December 2026) and Dubai Airshow 2027 (15–19 November 2027), both at Dubai World Central. Most large business events in Dubai use one of two venues. Of the 131 upcoming Dubai events on atndr, 75 are at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and 12 at Dubai Exhibition Centre. Check yours before booking a hotel.

Gulfood 2027 and WHX 2027 use both main venues at once, so plan travel time between them.

Sort out your entry, hotel and badge early.

• Entry. Some nationalities get a visa on arrival in the UAE; others apply online for a tourist visa before travelling. Check your passport on the official Visit Dubai visa page.
• Hotels. In weeks with several co-located shows (3–5, 10–12 and 23–26 November 2026), rooms near DWTC fill early and prices rise. Book as soon as your dates are fixed.
• Badges. Some trade exhibitions offer free professional visitor badges, while others charge. GISEC 2027 currently has an interest form, not a confirmed free badge. Check the current edition, pass inclusions and taxes on the official booking page.
• Opening hours. Check the hours for each day. Many shows close earlier on the last day: Gulfood 2027 runs 10:00–18:00 on 15–18 March and closes at 17:00 on 19 March.

Dubai and Riyadh now list almost the same number of upcoming business events on atndr (131 and 126), and Abu Dhabi lists 38. Dubai covers the widest range of industries; the other two hold anchor events that Dubai doesn't.

Plan your meetings before you land. Most flagship shows open matchmaking apps a few weeks before the doors open.

1. Pick the week, not just the event. Co-located shows share a venue and dates. On 3–5 November 2026, one DWTC visit covers GulfHost, Gulfood Manufacturing, ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East.
2. Know which hall you need. At two-venue shows, sectors are split between DWTC and Expo City.
3. Read the agenda for side events. Startup zones and investor programmes are often where the useful conversations happen.
4. Register with a company email. Trade visitor passes are for industry professionals, and some organizers check.
5. Follow up the same week, while your conversation is still fresh.
